...a born and raised
southern California native, showed interest in music at an early age. At 8 years
old Halter began to study classical piano, then guitar at 14, and by 16 was
writing his own songs. Though it wasn't until years later that Ernie found his
true love for music with singing. He never seemed to get enough of the

list goes on). In 1995 Ernie was awarded a scholarship to attend
Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.,
where he studied performance with such gifted faculty as Walter Beasley,
